Minions Movie Review remain

The lovable, clumsy, earplug-looking Minions remain as cute as ever on this sequel, which provides some context to the origin story that started with Despicable Me. Now, we find out how the diminutive henchmen first met their would-be monstery master Gru.

Co-director Pierre Coffin (who also voices all of the Minion characters) and screenwriters Kyle Balda and Brad Abelson dispense with the melodramatic elements of their predecessor's story, selecting as a substitute to give attention to the innate silliness that makes these little yellow critters so irresistible.
